I was born in Mexico and grew up in Monterrey, Nuevo León, where I taught languages in public and private schools to children, teens, and adults for over 7 years.
I currently live in the U.S. and have experience teaching Spanish to students from diverse cultural backgrounds, including Korean, American, and Chinese learners. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Foreign Language Teaching and a master’s degree in Educational Innovation.
I’m passionate about languages, culture, history, and food (especially Mexican Spanish). After searching for more meaningful and effective ways to teach languages, I founded SelfLingua in 2021, a program focused on communication, culture, and real-life learning.
My teaching style adapts to each student’s needs. Some learners prefer a structured, intensive approach, while others thrive in a relaxed, supportive environment. In every case, I aim to deliver organized, engaging, and personalized lessons where students feel comfortable building confidence.
